Has anyone tranferred a Vespa warranty? How long did it take and do you get any kind of warranty info in your name. I just started this process and am wondering what to expect. Any and all info appreciated. Thanks.

I have been told that, once a Vespa's VIN has been registered in the system, it can be accessed from any dealership which can ascertain if the warranty is in effect. One year from date of purchase, or three if the extended warranty has been purchased.

So regardless of present ownership, I can get warranty service performed? Even if its got someone else's name on it?

In your warranty booklet, there is a change of ownership form. Send that in to:

Piaggio USA, Inc.
140 East 45th Street, 17th Floor
New York, NY 10017

Do not send it to the address on the form....it is way old! Give them about 6-8 weeks to process it. If it is any longer, give them a call...I believe Jessica Burke is still in charge of that stuff.

Thanks. I've done that already. I was wondering if they sent a new warranty card in my name and how long it should take. You've given me some guidelines. That's what I was looking for.
