"OK we are on for Saturday...come on good weather! We really can't
think of an ideal meeting spot so we thought on the side of the
Garage Bar in Ohio City would be easy to find. the address is 1859 w.
25th.(map: http://www.thegaragebar.net/) there should be some parking
on the street and if not behind the building. This is just north of
the West side Market (restrooms are in the basement of the market)The
bar does not open until 3, our planned meeting time.
The ride is short-about an hour. We will tour both sides of the river,
down to the eric canal path, through part of Washington Reservation.
We will end in Tremont (still tweaking this part)and maybe take a
stroll, have an ice cream,check out a gallery or have cocktail.
Another ending option may be an early dinner/late, late lunch at
Sokolowski's http://www.sokolowskis.com/saturday.html

As I mentioned this is a pretty atypical ride, but interesting
noentheless (at least we think)
