I just upgraded from a 3/4 helmet to a Full face component or modular style helmet. Its Nolan N102.

On my last helmet, I had white reflective tape on the front back and a stripe on the sides to increase the chances I will be noticed.
(I know is some areas of the US this is illegal, but not where I live)

This new modular helmet looks like it doesn't have the room for the tape because of the clearance of the front face portion sliding up and over the top. Has anyone with a modular helmet put reflective tape or something to increase thier "reflectivityness"?

Hi there, Check out www.aerostich.com for your reflective thingymagigie.

They have some cool stickers for your helmet. They have these side arrows that helps (blind people) see which way your head is turning, Check it out. Hope this helps mate.

Cheers

My helmet is covered with strips of Solas tape. It's really bright when headlights hit it. My girl has the HJC modular with tape on hers too.

SOLAS tape is also great to put under the "reflectors" on the GT/GTS top box. Makes them actually reflect. Imagine that.

I have already purchased the tape, I have quite a bit of it actually, but I am afraid to put it on the helmet, because it looks like there is not enough room for the modular face portion to clear it as it slides up. Has anyone done this before?

tape it up with some masking tape or something to see if it clears first.
