It is with great sadness that I have to declare the Western Mustangs' season ended! After falling to a 0-4 start (worse in recent history), they rallied to end the regular season at 4-4. Through some miracle (surely to be talked about for many years to come), they managed to climb through the play-offs, again and again and again beating teams ranked higher than they, to win the Yates Cup (Ontario conference championship). Today, they played the Manitoba Bison (Western Canada Conference champions), only to be decimated! The horror! The horror!

UofManitoba, and St. Mary's U, will compete in the national championship next week. I already have my tickets!

To the 'stangs, there is always next year!

Hey 1-9 no more! ND acutally beat Duke . They even have a shot at a third win next week. The upside: a lot of sophomores and (true) freshmen with a lot of game experience-looks good for the future. (Like this guy Jimmy Clausen):

Never have really gotten into football since we never had a high school team. Not enough kids to support one. That being said i really don't know the rules etc. Which kinda takes the fun out of things. I do support our Univ of Hawaii warriors tho. As we speak they are 10-0 Not bad for an island in the middle of nowhere

Hawaii are always an exciting team to watch. Their quarterback is outstanding also.

Don't know about IrishTim and the other Notre Dame alumni, but I can't find it in me to miss any ND games. After they're done, I think about how I could've spent the day riding instead. But then the very next Saturday, it's the same thing all over again.

All of USA saw 1-8 Notre Dame v. US Air Force Academy on National TV but Ohio St v. Wisconsin was only for those with a pay-extra cable/satellite package. Still a big draw.

Just got done watching the news. ESPN is here for our big game UH-Boise on fri One of the head camera guys said that the UH-nevada game was his 3rd best game ever Sorry for being so excited but were just a small fish in the pond and it's neat to see the team getting some recognition other than here in hawaii.

We're coming over on the 1st of December for the U of H vs U of W game. We also played Boise State and slipped by them for one of our few victories, good luck.

Is my GT to large for carry on or should we try for the ET?

My wife helped a client out at one of the UH games a couple of years ago and in their concession they served Cinnabons and beer! Pretty strange combo. I don't remember the other team but there was a big brawl near the end of the game.

WOOOOOOT UH warriors won over boise state 39-27. We have won the wac title and only have to beat washington next week.VDROWLEY your in for one fantastic game I know very little about football but if we win next week i guess the team gets in a different conference? I'm just glad for a team from the remotest islands on the planet for the first time EVER is doing great. Some how coming to hawaii to get a pro contract doesn't make any sense. So to get where we are with who we have is pretty amazing.
