Hi all,

The exhaust on my 2 stroke 50cc 2014 Vespa Primavera is blowing so I bought a cheap aftermarket item (Tecnigas). Comparing the two exhausts it seems that the Tecnigas exhaust does not have the extra pipe to allow for (what I assume is) the EGR valve.

Can I leave this pipe disconnected from the engine? Should I block it?

I have attached a photo of the OEM exhaust EGR pipe below (the one with the cable tie on it).

Disconnected is fine. No need to block it unless you want to want to keep it clean in case you ever want to reconnect it. Might want to just remove it completely.
