Modern Vespa

Folks,

I noticed while washing my scoot this weekend that the front suspension cover on my GT is loose. It's missing 2 out of 3 attachment points. Where can I get the following Vespa PNs:

969224 Nut
259348 Screw
259349 Screw
CMO17410 Plate

Or, from the drawing below, I need one each of #5, 6, 3 and 9.

Since there's no description in the parts manual on length/size/pitch etc and Motorsport doesn't stock these can anyone provide a possible source?

those fell off on my et. i went to ace hardware and just eyeballed some stuff. worked fine and cost about 2 dollars.

I need the cover and the hardware. I just realized it was missing from my second-hand GT200.

I know I could guestimate something for parts "3 & 9" but the bugger is that little plate, (#5). It's a tight spot, it fits up into the adjoining piece of plastic, kind of a specialized bit.

I suppose if I can get the 2 ends secured I won't worry too much about the missing bolt in between.

I removed my suspension cover. It's stupid and you don't need it.

But, it's original. It's...VESPA!

my ace had that little plate too, it was in with carbon bushing brushes. i'm not sure what carbon bushing brushes are or what they're for, but they use little vespa plates.

Lomunchi - if they condemn my GT, I'll send you the bolts by coconut-laden sparrow. I'm not sure about the flight speed so you might be waiting awhile.

Lomunchi - Looks like my GT will make it back on the road after all. Still waiting for the dealer to get it to the salvage inspector for the final blessing.

Bet they're the same as the GTS. If you want I would try the new Scooterville and see if they can match em up for you. I'll bet they 5mm though.

Anyway, you reminded me its time to start looking for loose screws and bolt and get me somma dat white plumber's tape.

Hey, folks, I'm fine, I was just trying to help out a fellow traveller. I ended up with a 1/4 inch pan headed screw with a plastic lock nut and I'm happy (only 2 or 3 possible screws in place but it's plenty firm....) I just thought Astromags might still need a cover.
