Modern Vespa

I know, I know, I usually avoid it like the plague, but it's bound to happen with visitors. I usually try and park in/near bicycle parking, but just wondered if anyone's parked near pier 39 before...garage motorcycle parking??

On Google Maps, follow Beach St. west past Polk, and you'll see it dead-ends inside Golden Gate National SomethingOrOther... There are a few, time-limited (i.e., somewhere around 4hrs), 100% FREE parking spaces down there that most tourists know absolutely nothing about. I'm sure you can squeeze a motorcycle in somewhere down there without attracting too much attention from the parking police.

there are mc parking meters at montgomery and chestnut
and are good for ten hours and probably cheaper
than one of those garages there

just park somewhere else and walk...


i find that parking further away from the persidio side and closer to the bay bridge side... sorta toward north beach, but not where its all hectic... if that makes any sense... pier 7 thats where i would park when i had class down there.... or mabe i just wanted to skate there?
