I got my new Torc Leather gloves for riding in winter.
Got my Rain Chaps
Gotta get my registration fixed. Depending on my budget left over I'm hoping to get a Full Face Helmet and or a mesh/Summer Jacket.

So...sorry for the delay (in sending and receiving). In the last two weeks of the year, my brother-in-law entered hospice. I was helping my 82 year old mother-in-law with all the mess associated with moving a 57 year old man who had started to lose his mind into the hospital. He passed on 1/3.

I took on this role because my wife needed me to act in her behest. My brother-in-law was a pretty awful person and understandably, would not be involved with him any capacity. As most family situations dictate, there was a lot of frustration and anger over how he's behaved and I was the lone uninvolved pragmatist.

Even in passing, his awful behavior carried forward. One week after his death and a couple of days after we found a home for his Rottweiler, my mother-in-law was robbed. His poor choices (friends, enemies, addiction, etc.) in life continue to persist beyond the grave.

So...a joy among all the horribleness was the great gift I got from Wmak! Not only did I get a great shirt, fun holiday bag, and a Blu-Ray for the Cannonball, I also got a selection of some nice whiskey and bourbon from the region which was promptly used (hence not in the photo).

Thanks! I appreciate the gifts and thanks to Matt for arranging this annual event. It's always fun to exchange gifts and share the spirit of the season.

What a rough go. Sorry again for the bad holidays.... hopefully 2019 is a whole lot better.

Be careful of that video if there's young ones around. They'll be swearing like sailors by the end. You may too.

Shared this before, but as my mother is what I call my chief scooter-enabler, thought she might want a look at the movie. She started on it and took a break or two. At one point I enquired as to her progress on it, and she replied, "How long does this f-ing thing last??" Let's just say she's not normally inclined to that choice of adjectives.

Hope you enjoy the movie, Fledermaus is a strict critic, lol. Sorry for all of your tribulations, good on you for stepping it up in a difficult situation, hope 2019 treats you more kindly.

NZ Post finally delivered my gift from SoCalGuy last Friday while I was away scootering around the East Cape of NZ.
Great to come home to this little haul, no excuse for any of the scoots to be other than pristine now.

Well my Christmas gift arrived today from my Not So Modern friend Die_Vespa_Kind in Utah. Check it out ... a spark plug caddy, w/ two fresh plugs, a new kickstart rubber for my Super, and ... a Green Thumb Kit! (haha, little inside joke). Awesome!
