My scoot fell over yesterday (center stand was in some soft tar filling a crack I the asphalt), shattering the headlight lens and breaking the headset top. A nice stranger picked up the scooter, gathered up the cracked bits, and left me a note.
The headlight still works, though the lack of a lens is obviously a problem. Any advice on the possibility of replacing the lens rather than buying a whole new unit? I am running a "Euro Vespa P series headlight 1977-2000". I see various lenses on the regular scooter parts websites but they seem to be for earlier bikes, but I am not sure if they will work and, if they will fit, how one goes about attaching them to the reflector assembly. Silicon?
