Hi
Apologies if this has been covered before (i'm New on here)
I wanted to change the silver trims on my GTS Super 125 to Black, Are the rubber ones any good? Or does anyone know where you can get decent trims? Or are they best painted?

Thanks

Welcome, ForzaScum1980!

I haven't a clue about the trim but my husband was wondering the same.

Seen it done very cheaply but effectively by wrapping them in 3m 1080 vinyl.

Did you fit it yourself?
Also did you buy the crimping tool or was it not needed?

Thank you

No tool needed. They clip on and made of plastic. They're not like the shifty Vespas...

^^ correct, no specialty tools needed. It is not a small job though - you have to take off the glove box panel and the floorboards, etc. Not terribly difficult, but time consuming - probably took me 4 hours or so. I did find my rubber mallet came in handy for getting it to seat correctly in the groove.

Well worth it in my book!
