There is a thread in the project forum on this, but only a few are posting and I'm curious to hear from more people.

Here's the original thread.
Better Bar Ends for GT/GTS et al..

I'm wondering if people have used them have used them just to address a wobble, or simply as a ride quality improvement.

(I think) I see what you are asking. My two cents, if you don't have a problem it doesn't need correcting. I put the heavy bar ends on that came with my Vespa top case. I have no idea if they made a difference or not, I've never ridden without the case or the bar ends. If you want to dress up the bars, sure put something on but I wouldn't count on them making a difference to the ride.

Dave

(I hope my reply was in the right direction for you)

I tried the std bar ends with the top case installed. Scooter was a bit wacky. (Definitley lightened the front end.) Installed the heavier ones that came with the case. MUCH BETTER! Got rid of the front-end twitchiness.

So it sounds like unless you're putting a top case on, or you experience some kind of wobble, you won't really notice anything and it's not worth the ~$100, right?

I put mine on with the top case also. To me it 'felt' like it also helped with the front end of the GT feeling like it was going to take off at higher speeds but that's solely my impression. Nothing more technical behind it. I would never take mine off.

I've been watching said thread. I don't know about the difference it makes with wobble but they look fantastic!
