I would think, if its the same Headlight Body with different components inside.
It may be plug and play for the older models assuming it fits.
They just never seem to make that many changes from year to year you can fit some of the same parts to other bikes.

I highly doubt it would work with tilt lock engaged. Think about a front wheel dropping into a pothole while in reverse. Stubborn emoticon

There have been a couple times it was difficult for me to back out of a spot. Lesson learned about parking facing down slope.
