There was another Ape-turned-food-truck thread here not long ago. Wax it pizza as well? I think it was for sale here in the US.

We get a similar one come to our tennis club for small events though the one we get has a chimney that goes up at the back. Not sure whether they use real wood but it does look rather sweet.

These ovens use either wood or gas. This particular business uses gas. I happen to own one of those ovens, and they are spectacular. This is what comes out of them. Unfortunately, I don't have an Ape to cook out of.

Oh, hell, Stang, that pizza looks so good...and I need to get to bed. Guess I know what's for lunch or dinner tomorrow!

And, yeah, best-put-to-use Ape ever.

Thanks, it was tasty. The oven can be powered by either propane or wood, it just uses different fittings for each. I have not tried the wood yet, as I hear it's kind of difficult to get to temp, and the propane works so damn well. The oven gets up to about 900 degrees in about 30 minutes. It's called a Roccbox, here's the link. It works as well as they claim https://www.gozney.com/products/home-ovens/roccbox/

Here's a review of a few different small pizza ovens, Roccbox is first choice

Several years back, while staying in Capestang in southern France, we had pizza from one such as this. Very tasty.
It was a popular eatery along the Canal du Midi.

Funny, I was with my whole extended family in Southern France this summer, and no one mentioned Capestang. We were right around Sur Le Sorgue. Amazing area.

Here's a link to Capestang from wikipedia and it will give you an idea for perhaps a trip next year.

Can you go down to the boardwalk and get a steak sandwich with grilled peppers and onions?

I remember doing that at Seaside Heights growing up and then going to the stand across the way and get a fresh made lemonade made in front of you while you waited.

I sure do miss them. Nothing close to that down here.

I believe you still can - our scooter club chowed down at one of the bigger eateries not far from there a few months back, and at least one of our members ordered something along those lines if I recall.

Still want a chance to sample the eats down your way before crazy-long.

You may not have to come down here to sample our fare. From time to time chefs from here will temporarily open a restaurant in New York City, usually a couple months, and actually ship fresh ingredients up from here to serve to people in the area. I can keep an eye out and let you know if/when that happens if you like. Or you can just take a trip to New Orleans or better yet to our west into Cajun Country and sample the fare in person. If the latter route it's best to do your research before hand. There are places that are authentic and places that cater to the tourist. The best are the ones who are authentic.

I love the grey. That's actually one of the things that led me to buying my GT60. And I love colorful things. I have a closet full of aloha shirts and I wear orange shoes, but love my grey scoot. That being said, if I didn't have my GT60, I'd want an orange scoot.

No disrespect noted at all. That's why there are so many options in the world. People like different things. It would be pretty damn boring if everything was the same.
