Hi All, I am rebuilding my vespa px 200 from a box of bits and have decided to dispense with the battery. I have bought a 3 pin regulator and wiring harness I understand I will need to change the flasher relay to a A/C model. So my question is this is there a specific Stator for non-battery use? (present one has five wires for Ducati ignition) Anything else I need to be aware of? Many Thanks Dave

Hello.
Similar question I put last week. If you're changing the loom then it should work fine. The Stators are the same. It's the regulators job to protect the coils and bulbs.

Your horn will need replacing with an AC one.

Non battery AC stator is usually a 5 wire stator. This one I rewired last week...
