I think the title is Toot Toot

Right. It's "Toot" and it's the B-side on the first pressing of "The Twist", from 1960. The second pressing has "Twistin' USA" as B-side.

I don't think she's singing about scooters, but she's riding one: go to youtube for Sylver (Forever in Love) and while you're there, check out Alizee (Moi Lolita).

I saw Sammy Hagar a few weeks ago in London, with Chicken Foot. They played that song as an encore. It was very cool as I was taking stick all night for wearing a Vespa T. He said it was the very first song he ever wrote when he was 16.

The Motor Scooter Song by Willie Pevear.

I heard part of this song on Click and Clack on NPR. I tried to find it but couldn't locate it anywhere so I posted a note here.

About 10 days later I got an email from Willie himself and he said he'd put it on iTunes for me. Got it for $.99

I use part of it for my ringtone.
