Modern Vespa

had my GTS for 10 days. Neat. 800 miles on it so far. Need to adjust the headlight down. Owners manuel says adjust with screw under the headlight, but doesn't tell me which way. My thinking is that clockwise would move it down? But when I turn it clockwise, it feels seated solidly. Counter clockwise turns loose and easy.

Everything else I have needed to know so far I have found on this site. And this answer may be here somewhere, but I can't find it.

You are probably turning the wrong screw. There are two screws under the head light. The first one you see has a black head and is used to hold the headset cover on. Turning that one clockwise would feel tight. if you look higher up under the headlight - almost at the very bottom of the headlight there is a second one that is on an angle. That's your headlight adjustment screw.
I put a Jettin headlight visor on mine and the difference in the light pattern was phenomenal!

yep, I was turning the wrong one. Only mistake I have made in my life. Glad that is over.

Order the Jettin visor week ago. Between the right screw and visor I ought to be set.
