I purchased the 2 year extended warranty for my Mp3 from my dealer on August 21, 2007 and wonder how long it will take to get the warranty card, or paperwork, from Piaggio.

I purchased my Mp3 on June 16th and I received on September 10th the orginial 12 month warrant sticker to place in the service booket. Dealer stated my extended warranty had been entered into the system and shows up on his computer, but I would like to have a hard copy from Piaggio for my file.

If anyone else has purchased the extended warranty, have you received any paperwork from Piaggio and if so how long did it take to get it.

Yours was an interesting post. I purchased my MP3 in January of 2007 and it was delivered in April. On September 9th, I received the sticker indicating a one year warrenty ((I didn't get an extended warrenty).
Did Piaggio hire a new person to take care of the backlog?

Same here! I ordered my MP3 in November and took delivery on April 4th. I got my 1 year warranty sticker last Friday, September 7th. I didn't get the extended warranty either.

Do we see a pattern developing here? Looks like they were all sent out at once!

all at once..... yep got mine

Got mine also...But I have used the warrenty twice already before I got the sticker..They replaced my rear back bent rim and replaced by gas sender in the gas tank..

Bought mine in July and also bought the 2 year extended warranty. Just got the sticker for the 1 year warranty but when I called the dealer in Dallas they said it's on their computer and throughout their system??? Whatever that means.

I also got the extended warranty, but my recently received documentation doesn't refer to that at all (says 1 year). If any of you figure out whether there is Piaggio-issued extended warranty documentation we ought to receive, please update.
