Five hundred 2005 PX150 SA's were built. Let's start an informal registry of these fine scooters, include edition number and any pertinent/ interesting facts and history. It will be interesting to see how many of the five hundred we can account for, and how many owners have made it to this forum.

I own # 469. It is rumoured to have been the first prize in a Coca-Cola contest. It was registered in Alabama until I went to get it....It belongs in Texas now.

I'm still hoping to buy one! Any sellers?

I don't know about the serie america, but I have #48 of the serie Canada, and there's only 350 of them!

Other than the paint what is the difference from the stock PX-150?

I think the only other differences are the brown leather seat, and the numbered badge on top of the glove box. They also came with an informative P-series book: "Vespa Tecnica 5".

The seat's still vinyl, just a different color. The standard PX's came with black seats or that weird tan color seat that alabaster ET's had.

On a side note, one of my techs in Philly had one that I almost bought from him. He was the kind of guy that rode the CRAP out of his bikes. Let me see if I can remember the condition of the bike as I saw it last.. Both handgrip endcaps fell off, both cowls dented/scraped, mudguard scraped/dented, glovebox lid riveted to the hinges.. hmm that's all i can remember at this point. Even if I had pictures, i wouldn't torture you all with them.

Anyhoo, what does make this Vespa seat stand out from just being an awesome reproduction of leather is the embroidery on the seat.

I can beat that! I have #2 of 7 of the 2006 "Serie Paros". Has a special feta container in the glovebox.

My barber has one, no motorcycle license, but he's got one. Bought it off some one in PA. Worst part is that he's never ridden it.

I just bought serie canada number 154 last week.

I have #10. I bought it new from a dealer in MN. Very solid and dependable scooter!

I love that Series Canada color.

I bought #438 from its original owner up in Boston and brought it here to Atlanta a number of years ago. It's in pristine condition- I've replaced the pipe with a SIP Road 2.0, upjetted it, and have corrected a few other relatively minor maintenance issues.

The only 'special' thing about this scooter, other than the 'Serie America' badge is the color. Though I've never confirmed it, I heard that they only brought 1,500 of these 2005 px150's to America, and 500 of them were this Vintage Verde. So if it's true that they only imported 1,500 - and 500 were green, that would leave just 1,000 for the red, black, and silver models they brought here, making the green not so limited I love it though- pretty classic.... truly, "the last of the great two strokes" !
