Modern Vespa

Part on the Oz Day Rally was the obligatory Show & Shine held in Port Adelaide in perfect weather on Australia Day Saturday Jan. 26.
The rally hosted about 100 overseas enthusiasts mainly from the U.K and some from U.S.A. Local scooterists numbered about 70 who rode and trucked their machines from all over the country for this rare event, organized by the South West Scooter Clubs ( South West of England) and Reservoir Gods S.C Australia.
Each day/night of the rally is chocka with club rides, visits to local attractions and pub parties with bands/D.Js.
Some of the guests arrived on Thursday Jan. 24 when we had the hottest day ever of 46.6C/115.8F. One pub in Adelaide offered free beer if the temp exceeded 45C, sadly this pub was miles away from the Oz Day Rally.
The party will eventually move on to Melbourne, then Sydney for more of the same. It doesn't get much better than this.
