Think you want something like this, https://www.ebay.com/i/332514518214?chn=ps
About the size of a small box of wood matches. I use them on my small engines. |

I have this one. Real simple gauge. It has one wire that you wrap around the HT lead. I use it for breaking in my motors after rebuilds. It's cheaper on Amazon through Trailtechs store than it is on their website for some reason. |

Look up shipping from California to you. If you like the shipping price plus the $30 from Amazon, I'll buy one and then ship it to you.

There is a niggle in the back of my mind now about the two-stroke aspect. As there is not selection for 4 or two
How about broadening your search to Karting tachometer as karts use two stroke engines. https://www.google.com/search?safe=strict&client=firefox-b-ab&biw=1366&bih=619&tbm=isch&sa=1&ei=zP1QXMrWAcLavgTjwo7QDA&q=Kart+tachometer+UK&oq=Kart+tachometer+UK&gs_l=img.3...525795.526674..527179...0.0..0.214.535.0j2j1......1....1..gws-wiz-img.......0i5i30.Q8gEp4gtDE4 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RPM-Rev-Tachometer-Counter-With-Holder-UK-KART-STORE-/361358967881 OR https://www.ebay.com/itm/CUENTAVUELTAS-CUENTARREVOLUCIONES-MONTESA-SCORPION-RAPITA-50-TACHOMETER-/151127580134?hash=item232fe7dde6 https://www.ebay.com/itm/MONTESA-KING-SCORPION-TACHOMETER-/150731256312?vxp=mtr&hash=item23184871f8 |

I've used Tiny Tach in the past (https://www.tinytach.com). Worked well, but no back-light, and the batteries are not replaceable. They tend to last a couple of years. I mounted on top of the glove box, ran the wire through the glove box, and then on top of the floorboards, but covered over with a rubber floor mat. One issue is that to run the wires through the hole in the glove box you need to cut the wire and then mend it when you have it fed through.
