Modern Vespa

When I bought my first Vespa in 2009, it was a 1980 P150X. To keep up with the gang on their 200's, I fitted a Malossi 166 kit. I had the intake of the crank machined, fitted a racing clutch and a SIP racing exhaust. It is quite fast and goes like a dream, and although it outruns the 200's, it still does not have the torque of a 200.

I have since found a 200 engine, but now my question is: must I fit the 200 engine, or keep the racing 150 engine?

Your comments and opinions would be appreciated.

Unless you have a crying desire to swap an engine over this time of year I couldnt see the point. Youve already said it outruns them so why bother?
Old Chinese proverb say 'Theres no replacement for displacement' but in this case Id leave your reliable pot alone.
