I'm in process of having printed overlay from km to mph for piaggio so you can make out speed on Speedo in UK if any one interested let me know cheers novak

What type of overlay? I did buy a printed card one that was sold by a uk seller via ebay but you had to dismantle the speedo to fit it. Problems were it distoted due to damp,faded and at night it made the speedo dim.It was supposed to be accurate as the seller had calibrated it with one or two sat nav,s If it's a clear plastic overlay fitted on the outside of the speedo and accurately calibrated then you might be on to a winner and i could be interested for the fuoco.

I'm off to see a mate of mine tomorrow to see if he can print overlay I'll send pics tomorrow

I use small white stickers to mark the 30 50 and mph on all my motor bikes.
So I can quickly see what my relevant speed is regardless of the markings.

As done 12 years ago (GPS verified 10 mph increments from 30 mph)...

I did same on mine but in red tape lol

Here's one I bought off of ebay a couple years ago. I think it was around $14 shipped. I installed it to be exactly accurate at 50 mph.

That's same one I've got £14 dollars is a bit expensive for this this is why I'm having some made hopefully for half price

Not sure if you ever considered this, as this is what I do here in the US.
Someone suggested this to me, and it stuck in my head.

If your traveling at 100km.
You divide 100 by 2, which is 50 and then add 8 in my head, that is 58...
That would give you very close to the actual mph.
It's not exact, but its close enough when it comes to getting a ticket or not.

I have not seen an overlay I liked yet...
There is one person offering them on ebay, and they just don't look good to me.

agree. the proper way would be design something that replaces the speedo face itself. Then take the instrument cluster apart and replace the face.

The 50mph mark should be pretty much vertical to be correct. The others marks (if taken off the original speedo) will be slightly wrong, but not by much.
