Was wondering about lifespan of the Osram brand bulbs in my 2018 Liberty150i taillight assembly.

While I have the assembly out of the scooter (installing admore light bar) would I be wise to replace all 5 of the bulbs with Sylvania brand? It will be a bear to go back in for a bulb replacement later!
Thanks, O.S.

No need to. They're the same bulbs! Sylvania was acquired by OSRAM back in 1993. You might look into LED bulbs, however.

You might consider changing them to LED. Some of us have converted out bikes to all LED to recover electrical generating capacity for add-ons such as GPS and phone charging, more lighting, etc.

Best

Yep, wondered if the AdMore light bar was going to pull down my Liberty's system. Scoot has a little 6AH battery and a 55W Headlight.
I did just save 8W by replacing rear DRL's with LEDs....the rear visibility of my scooter relied on those two 5W acorn mini-bulbs!
Hope headlight doesn't dim when I brake with that AdMore light bar!

My Admore top case lights are LED, isn't your lightbar?

Sure is......but how many watts used to power the bazillion LEDs in that light bar?

And the answer would appear to be 130 mA in taillight mode and 480 mA in brakelight mode. In other words, at 13.4 V something between 1.5W and 6W.

You guys are amazing!
(umm...before another dummy drives back across town because his newly installed wedge bulb LEDs didn't work --- tell him to try turning them over)(fortunately I remembered this before I got to the parts counter)

Here is my bulb replacement rule.
If I take something apart that has a bulb and it was hard to get to, I replace all bulbs at that time

I once had a job servicing time & temperature signs. We changed all of them at once, usually took all morning.
