Hey while transporting my scoot it got damaged. I went to ride it and it felt like the engine was, what would i say jolting around. I then noticed that the silent block supporting plate was loose. Also the connecting rod supporting spring was no longer attached to the end of the frame coupling rod. So i attached it back on but now it keeps hopping off. Could this make the scooter feel odd. Ps just so ya know what bits im on about look here.

Wow, could that be the recall problem that they had with the LX swingarm? I'd check with your local dealer to see if this has happened to anyone else, and if it's covered. Aside from that, I think it's time to start applying lots of loctite.

First of all Emmett, if you're not too tired and lonely, can you give us some more info? What damage and how did it happen during transport? Did you tighten the supporting block plate? How hard was it to get the spring back in place? Does anything under the scooter look bent? ie: cracked paint on metal pieces, obvious warping of flat pieces?

My first thought with the small amount of info you gave us is the spring has been stretched and no longer has enough tension to stay in place. But then the real question would be how did the spring get stretched!

Well the only thing was we took it out of the van when we got over here. When i put it in the van it was fine. I dont see any cracking at all. The only thing i see is the spring is just hanging there and when i re attach it, it pops off. I tightened the silent block thing after the spring had detached as i noticed it was loose as anything. The spring does not look different or stretched.
