FortNine, Canada's largest online seller of bike gear has a great YouTube channel. Ryan tells a great story and his delivery is entertaining and very informative. I've watched a lot of their vids and the one Ryan just did on GORE-TEX and waterproof gear is worth a view.

As "bikers" we need more representatives like Ryan.

Yeah, Ryan can be a bit irritating at times , but I've watched his vids both on bikes and gear.

I've noticed I share his viewpoints most of the time... so he can't be that bad

P.S. One of my best friends for years is a Canadian fellow who happened to wander to Finland for awhile. Well, we are still good buddies, just never see each other.... the point is, we learned to share a very sarcastic sense of humor - whether we are a typical Finn and Canadian (his roots are at Toronto-Montreal axle) I can't say, but the sense of humor, or lack of such, was a definite match.

Yes, some of us can have a very dry, sarcastic sense of humour. It gets me "misunderstood" here on occasion :-p

Ryan's been a great - and entertaining - source of info for me the last few years. My choice in helmet and helmet-comm upgrades last year (HJC RPHA 70 ST and Cardo Packtalk Slim) were influenced by his breezy-but-BS-free reviews, and I can't say I'm disappointed.

The GoreTex review is his first new upload in a little while; I presumed he and the FortNine crew were pretty busy.

Now that you mentioned this, I had to check it out...brings back fresh memories of my VanVan200, it's basically the same bike for all practical (?) purposes. And yes, again, I fully agree with Ryan about the best use of these bikes.

In Finland, TW200 used to be seen as an aid for reindeer shepherds in Lappland... a side note, reindeers roam freely, but they are gathered together once and awhile...TW200 climbed anywhere, was quiet and did not ruin terrain. Euro emission regulations dropped the TW200 from here at first and now the updated VanVan is gone too with the latest rule updates.
