I LOVE that he used the interwebs/Social Media to help drive traffic into the shop! Just by posting pics of people and their new bikes!

I like his comment about upgrading to a Guzzi V7. There's a guy rolling around one here in West Sac (Though I haven't seen him lately. Maybe a fair weather rider?!) I caught up to him one day and told him the honest truth. If he were to ever entertain selling his bike, to call me first!

Indian/Vespa of Monmouth have adopted this formula somewhat, with their own take on it. The showroom is quite different from a lot of places I've been, even compared to Vespa Brooklyn & Manhattan, although there's an intersecting vibe here and there. he emphasis is on engagement and enthusiasm, which was wholly absent from the place I originally purchased Melody from - it was pretty much determination on my part that led to my being the damned thing. How does that work when attempting to sell a bike to someone who's curious but neither experienced nor quite that enthusiastic?

It doesn't hurt that its the Piaggio Flagship store set up and very close to PUSA headquarters in NYC.

With that said, Andrew knows the powersport business, selling as much or more units in volume (at least in Brooklyn when I was at PUSA) than West Coast dealers even with seasonal winter down-turns in the market.
