I'm getting a set of SIP tubeless rims for my 05 PX and I'm considering trying the Michelin City Grip. The snag is that the only sizes they offer are 100/80-10 or 120/70-10. Both sizes seem too big to me, has any PX owners out there tried these ? What say you ?

What version you getting (of rims)?

The version 2 rims use 3.50-10 tyres (standard 2.10-10 rim).
The version 1 rims go up to 100/90-10 (2.50-10 rim) - but ok with 100/80-10's.

Version 1 rims cause 4mm offset left, version 2 are aligned.

So you could go version 1 rims with your 100/80-10's.

Man I hate the tyre selector on SIP. Can't see the sizes of the tyres without selecting each one. But the only 10" city grips are 100/80-10 and 120/70-10.

Also to actually answer your question
- with the version 1 SIP tubeless you can fit the 100 width because of the 4mm offset.

Should add - 3.50-10 is closest to 90/100-10. So comparing 90/100-10 to 100/80-10:

Thanks for the info, it was a good read.

I'm going to be using the 2nd generation SIP tubeless rims. After reading it over I might stick to a 90/90 or 3.50 tire, it looks like a better fit, especially the rear, it might be a close fit at 100/80.

all good. i think you'd be sweet with version 1 rims because of the offset... but then you'd have offset. and version 2 wouldn't take 100/80 i think? surely 3.50-10's are the way to go on version 2 rims. then you'd be stock size tubeless.

btw.. this info is the best i can glean (infer) from the seriously limited info from SIP. nil response to my emails or posts on the forum...
