Is a p200e going to fit into my VBB2t with no clearance issues? particularly around the airbox/body?

I have 200e engine in a VNA frame (Slugrockets on this board, yes, I know its not in there now ).

If I remember correctly, it all fit without mods to the carb box. I may have had to fit the carb box after the engine was in the frame.

Wait, you already bought the $2k engine from Olympia and only NOW you're asking this question?

Glad you got what you wanted. Most on this forum try to wrench and would have made a call out for a p200 motor that's complete, or cases, or parts for the inside. Either way gets the job done. You may know this already, this scooter club is in Durham and maybe some good people to know. https://incriminators.com/rally/.

I have a P200 in a older scooter and yes, you will need to take the carb box off before installing into scooter.

Good luck and I hope it all works out eventually.

Nevermind, this will obviously upset the Greaseball and he will freak in a stream of profanity and then ban me.
no profanity necessary.

remember, this is your doing. the #1 rule is don't be a dick. and, quite frankly, you're being a dick.

yeah... yeah, i am...

btw, i didn't bounce you for calling me a dick. you can call me whatever you want. i bounced you for your name calling, grade school behavior. i'm really, really trying to give you another chance and get your act together and not to ban you outright. you obviously possess a great deal of knowledge about vintage scooters. it's just that you deliver it all wrong. try working on that. till then i'll just give you enough rope. sounds fair right?

until our next encounter i lust for only thee, yours truly.

I understand, but after 2 summers of mostly wrenching on 2 bodges and a good VBB with a junk LML motor the only wrenching I am ready to do this year is a motor swap so I can finally RIDE Crying or Very sad emoticon Laughing emoticon
