Yes, I've got one on my 2006 GT 200, and I've got six more in boxes, and the cables, and the rims, and the things to attach the rims to the headsets, but I've been too procrastinaty to put together a kit and sell the things.

I watched Robots install of the HPE LED HL and saw no slots being cut?

His only mod was he patched in the red DL wire to the 2020 yellow/black wire for post 2015 models like mine Is that on a pre-2015 GTS?

Is it determined, as yet, if the HPE HL plastic will go onto a pre-HPE scooter that's post 2015?

Here are the HPE LED headlight kits that will fit an earlier GTS or GT model. We do slight modifications to the headlight assembly so it will fit in early models and you can snap the plastics back together.

With this kit you put together does this eliminate all gaps around the new housing - im a bit concerned as it rains a lot in my area?

As well can you give us a quick run down on the mod needed with the holes required to install ? or is it straight forward once you see the kit ?

I just stumbled upon this thread searching for "how to open up headlight assembly on 2018 GTS 300's, and clicked on the scooterparts links that addresses your question
They clearly state on that page for the LED headlight kit "Requires drilling and cutting a slot into Front Handlebar Cover plastic. No instructions included or available from us.

So one of the many members who bought this to do the mod has to be kind enough to share with us on how to go about doing it.

A small detail ... not always replacing the halogen lamp with LEDs you get better lighting, even the shape of the reflector must be designed for that type of source.
In some cases you will get a stronger but misdirected light, in reality you will think you see better because there is more intensity but it will not be so.
However, testing is relatively cheap.
A kit designed specifically for the vehicle is better than a DIY.
