Just bought a second hand mp3 and while riding home the tilt lock light started blinking red and beeping (every second) I've noticed the lock isn't working anymore (it was a bit rainy while i was riding home). Then I parked the bike (on stand) to dry , after couple of hours started it to check what's going on and the tilt lock worked (locked the bike) and now it's stuck.

Now it's giving me very strange signals (long 20 seconds beep) and then every 1 second a beep

-checked all the fuses - they're fine (20 amp was blown - replaced it)
-battery is new
-fluids are fine
-saddle sensor is fine
-the double flick of the switch is not working

I suspect water in the pump. Any ideas how can I unlock it manually just to put the bike into the workshop (it's leaning to the left right now)

Hello
All the mp3 have a same problem with the roll lock
A pressure sensor
Change by a new or delete this system
But if you delete you would see the level of roll lock liquid every month

Haven't checked that one yet, on Polish Piaggio forumsomeone mentioned drilling two holes in the pump according to some piaggio bulletin this should help with the water in pump and also may resolve the problem.

Have you tried the quick double tap on the tilt lock switch to release it?

I think I found what's causing the issue, the electric motor isn't working I've connected 12v to it directly and nothing not even a sound.

Solved, electric gear motor was stuck with a piece of it metal in it, (the piece of metal was part of the ring that the electric motor is mounted) removed that one sealed it and everything is back to normal.

Glad you found it. It seems that the gear getting stuck for whatever reason (corosion, debree, etc.) is common. Mine had weep holes already dried but it was exposed to water for 2 years while not being used and I think that caused it to bind up. Since I freed it up it works perfectly.

Yes it was corrosion, that piece of metal looked just old, like it was left in the sun and salty water for a looooong time.
