A local dealer got a new 0miles 2014 primavera. How much of a discount should I be looking for? He's asking $5000 for the primavera, is that about right? Is he, as a dealer, make a better deal than that? or does Vespa inc. limits the bottomline of the scooters not sold on the dealer floor. any advise is welcome.

It all depends on where you are and how many other bikes you have to choose from. If you can find the same bike for less, it's not a great deal. If he's the only game in town, and you want it, it's a fair price. It's not like you can drive 300 miles to pick one up if you find a better deal on craigslist.

The 2019 Prima have 12 inch wheels. You could get a better deal. Bargain with the dealer. Good luck |

Puerto Rico, huge shipping costs to just get it to the Island! Doubt if there are very many dealers, can imagine the costs of a trip to the mainland to buy a scoot and get it back home, so my guess is that is the best price for 1 that 'new' you will find on the island.

I should have paid attention ⚠ Motovista makes a good point. |

Im kind of stumped at the scooter market here, back in 2005 I got a Brand new et4 with a helmet for $5500. Back then the dealer had a showroom full of vespas, I had to wait 2 weeks for mine cause they didnt have the color I wanted. There was a lot of demand for the vespas.
Now a days the motorcycle dealer got like 4 scooters tops and 2 of does are from 2015 but prices are way up. Primaveras for $7500 is kind of a stupid markup. |
