Just thought I should share- my 2006 GTS 250ie has been having intermittent stalling/hesitation issues. My probable list of causes was:
Fuel Pump (VIN# not in recall, but was 99% sure this must be the problem)
Exhaust Gasket blowing (not too bad though)
Belt & Rollers (due service replacement anyhow)
Battery (fitted new MotoBatt c.2 yearsa ago- starts fine)
However I also read here about some citing the Engine Kill Switch as an issue. The clincher was someone describing "massaging" the swtich whilst on & the engine cutting out. Sure enough mine did this. EUR20 & 30mins later- all sorted
So before y'all disppear down the rabbit hole fixing non-existent casues, like I almost did, check your Engine Kill Switch!
