I've mostly finished with the mechanical portion of my BV250 (2009 tourer) rebuild and have (finally!) been able to start commuting on it.

Good god that seat is uncomfortable!

I need to take care of this ASAP. I think I need to widen and raise the front and shave down the hump. Can anyone suggest a good upholstery shop in SoCal that may have some experience with this?

I may take a stab at this myself if I can't find anything reasonable. Are the 350 or 500 seats compatible? I don't see too many affordable used 250 seats on ebay to experiment with.

I used an Airhawk seat pad on mine, which helped a lot. A custom seat, along the lines of the BV 350 would be ideal, though I'm pretty sure a stock 350 seat won't fit...
