Modern Vespa

Hello everyone !

I just ordered a GTS 300 Super Sport MY 2019 so with LED and HPE engine here in Europe. It will be delivered in a month time so I'm now very impatient and here is a nice forum to speak and read about Vespa !

It will be my first scooter - I used to ride motorbikes but now moved to city center and have kids so no time to ride anymore - let's do it for daily commute then!

I already ordered the top box with black ring. Ultimately I will convert all chrome to black either matt either shiny depending on the parts.

So is there already some HPE users around?

what goes ok with gloss finish ? should i make the chrome parts , black matte or gloss black ?

Yes I will post pictures!!

Mine will be grey matt. Front light and rear light chrome will be glossy black but other chrome and levers and passenger footrest matt black.

already have the gloss mirrors black , big handle bars weight ( from the topcase) painted and topcase suport gloss back

Even if you don't buy from them, it's worth watching their videos. Robot does a fantastic job of explaining in common terms how to do the job. (YouTube contributors should take note)
There's at least a hundred videos, many explaining replacing common items with upgraded pieces.

but can t wait for my gloss yellow to arrive

One of their videos shows how to change the chrome leg guard trim to black. It's more involved than I thought, but doable.
I don't have my Vespa yet, but I've watched about 50 of the videos because I find them fascinating. I must change all the lights to smoke lens and LED bulbs!

Looks like all parts and methods are available to make my Vespa with black trims and no chrome anymore. Except... this front headlight trim, very much MY2019 so no resources on that nor part just yet. Let's see!
