Goodmorning from Guatemala! I have a Vespa LXV that I use mainly in Urban environment to do short comute from house to work, but with a couple of blocks with nit so great public lights . I have a leather case instead of a hard top box. I decided on the leather one mainly beacuse of looks, and I looove it, however it is sometimes impractical because when I park in public places I am always afraid that someone will steal the whole case and/or the content. -so might be considering a hard case. I use the case a lot since I store my laptop, purse, my work suite jacket and my dress/work shoes (when arrive at work I remove my riding jacket and riding shows and switch with my work gear).

I am trying to increase rear visibility. I bought reflective 3M belt that will put around the leather soft box at night. Bought the rear led running lights kit and the led rear light. Also bought a reflective vest to wear over my riding jacket. Probably add reflective sticker to my helmet also.

I was thinking about additional led lights, maybe the Admore led lightbar to install on the rear rack. I am trying to find a similar, less expensive solution or any other ideas are welcome. I found a couple of led stripes on amazon that come with no bracket and some others . I went to superbrightleds and got really confused with the different options.

Any suggestions for a solution and where to buy it. I am not 100% sure about the Admore since I might end up buying a vespa Hardbox and adding the lighting kit.

Thank you in advance.

What a beautiful scoot! I'd add reflective rim tape or decals and maybe an underbody LED light kit for fun. Otherwise, you seem to have it covered pretty well.

Post night pics showing your progress as they might be helpful to others considering the same.

I drilled holes in my rear indicators and added red flashing LED's that come on with my brake lights LED's- in addition to the driving light LED combo bulbs that act as white DL's and flash amber too. My brake lights flash via the inexpensive "3rdbrakelightflasher" gizmo. It's a tiny electronic unit that flashes the brake light and easily fit's behind the brake light unit. Cheap enough on ebay or Amazon. I bought two cheapo bulb holders and they easily insert in the holes if sized right. They come on with brakes, no flashing.
Make certain that any reflective tape you buy is the REAL 3M tape. I've tried the Chinese tape in several colors and it UV fades quickly in KY and wouldn't last long enough in Latin America to be worth trying.

I have a reflective ADV sticker on my helmet- maybe MV stickers reflect?

Several LED's sellers online have small LED light groupings that fit on your license plate- superbriteleds is one seller I've used.
Leather is cute and has glamor but IMO impractical for scoot or MC luggage!
Hard box just makes sense.
