Have been having vibration at stop when I pull the left brake lever. I've also noticed that on start up when I squeeze the left lever , the starter hesitates sometimes, like there is a bad connection. No problem with the right lever for front discs, no vibration, and starts everytime when using the Right lever. The vibrations are felt in the seat and handlebars. Should this be a concern ? Also breaking is quite minimal on the rear. I know we don't need much , but shouldn't there be more than a little ?

Keep those discs clean, Mine stops twice as fast after a good cleaning

THanks for any help, Dave

David, I believe that is a normal situation, because both my wife's and mine act the same way. It's a minor vibration, but probably related to the fact that the engine is mounted on the rear swingarm. When the rear brake is on that vibration resonates through the entire chassis.

Anyway, that's my best guess. It doesn't seem to have an adverse affect on anything; so, I wouldn't worry about it!

I too have noticed this and I assumed it was because when the rear brake is applied it is transferring engine vibrations to the frame. But I have not gotten down, looked and verified the possibility my theory is plausible.

This can happen when the steering column nut is loose.

It happened to me... as soon as it was tightened, the shuddering stopped.

Get it checked out.

The same occured on my GT200. Definitely engine vibration transmitted through the frame. There was a tread the general discussion of this forum

My MP3 does it as well when I pull the right brake at idle.

On the loose nut thory - is that on the MP3 or the regular scooter?

Thanks
