Well, today, the buyer rode away my Harley Ultra Classic, which I'd owned for 10 years--since it was new! We are, now, officially a two scooter family, with no motorcycles in the garage.

The BMW went about a month ago, and now it's just the MP3's. If anyone asks me how good these scooters are, just look at what I've let go for the answer to that question!

I bought the MP3 the day I sold my Yamaha Royal Star. I have had a bike for most of the past 30 years too. I love MP3.

I know how you feel..Before I got my Mp3 I thought selling my BMW 1150GS to get the MP3 would be a swap in price. Getting rid of my bmw for a scooter? Now I'm putting the 1150gs up for sale. Since I got the mp3 the bmw sits and collects dust. I only take it out to charge the battery and then I can't wait to get home to take out the mp3..For me the MP3 is the best Seat in the House.. except for the new corbin seat coming out thanks to 87..

Boy, I hear that! I love my scooter, but at 6'3", a little higher seating position would be welcomed. I will say that on my ride to Forest Hill, a round trip ride of nearly 300 miles, I arrived home without nearly as much discomfort as I experienced on the same ride astride my K1200LT. That being said, the only pain I experienced was in the butt!

Capitan John,

I saw a strap on seat cushion for an ATV at Walmart the other day. I have tail bone trouble so I keep my eye pealed for solutions. I almost bought it but I am short in the inseam and figured it would make my legs too short to reach the ground. Doesn't sound like you have that trouble.

This might be a cheap way to cure some of your issues. It was in the auto section where there were a ver ATV accessories.

I picked up the $5 ATV cargo net in the same section, it has come in handy a few times.
