I have a 77 Vespa P200E. Having fun with it. I noticed the other day that the signals were no longer operating. Then I noticed the horn not working. Last night I noticed that the rear signal was a little dim and when I step on the brake or pull the front brake, the rear light turns off completely....instead of getting brighter like a brake light should.
All assistance is appreaciated.

Iz,

Other than a short somewhere, if you have the US model fitted with the a battery, try to charge it first. The the turn signal and horn draw a lot of power, and the flywheel/stator assembly may not produce enough juice by itself. On all old scooters, battery or not, is a good idea to re-magnetize the coils in the stator once in a while. Scooterworks.com in Chicago, and probably any other scooter shop, can do it for you.

Hope this is helpful.
