I have been to France for a 2 week holiday and I took my MP3 with me on a trailer.
We rented what the french call a "gîte", this is some sort of cottage.
The first week we had temperatures up to 35 celcius, the second week it got colder but the sun was still there.
I went to pick up fresh bread everymorning on my MP3. About 15 kilometers through the mountains to the bakery (Boulanger).
As one of the Alps, the Grand Colombier, was very near I climbed it on my MP3. I coulD see the Mont Blanc from the top of the Colombier.
I was great climbing this well known mountain (Tour the France) and making all those thight curves all the way up to 2000 meters.
For a dutchman this is very high as my country is flat and I live below sealevel.
the strange thing was that it was hard work going through al those thight curves and I missed the gear shifting of my PX whitch would have made the climb even harder.
