Modern Vespa

Does anyone have any experience trouble shooting the fuel level gage? When the tank is full the gage reads a bit over half. The reads empty and the light comes on when it has 1.25 gallons in it.

I've had that problem since day one with my GTS. I don't know what to do, but it is the only problem I've ever had with it for 6000 miles.

Did the dealer try to fix it? What did they do?

I took the bike to one of my area dealers and they took a look at it and couldn't find any way to fix the problem. They didn't take the headset appart and look for loose connections which I've had people tell me is the problem.

I don't mind not having a working fuel gauge. I just run off of mileage and have no problems yet with running out or dangerously low on fuel.
