I lost a dear friend 22 years ago in Scotland who crashed into the back of a trailer with no brake lights. The doctor told our scooter club, had he been wearing a Full faced helmet, he would have survived the impact. Many scooter boys and mods rode to his funeral without helmets that day.
And that was the last day i ever did. Back then it was uncool to wear a full faced helmet with your parker and all the Mod stuff, but i did.

My Friend, died of brain damage, he was 17 years old.

The actual MSRP on that helmet was $260. I wouldn't have paid $140 for a used helmet...not when I can buy a brand new one for cheap. It's nice to have the hook-ups.

When people at work say would never wear a full face, I tell them that it's cool, because LA has some of the best facial reconstruction surgeons in the world. They must not think this is good enough, because they usually end up getting a full face..

that shit is pearl on top of rareatanium....

i sold one about a month ago... sold it to some dude in taiwan for over $300.00...

dudes in taiwan pay top top dollar for anything original vespa.

but if you paid any less than the normal retail $260.00 you got a smokin deal...

Have you ever tried to handle a hand gun with a helmet on. Its a pain in the ass.

Even the Sissys I know wont sport them... in feer of being discoverd in thier sissyness or something.

You cant blame Vespa as new Vespa buyers keep buying them. We had one to give away at a raffle and our raffle was pick your own prize... You guessed it that Vespa Helmet was almost dead last. It was donated buy a club member that also won it at a raffle.

Crap he should have sold it on e-bay.
