Modern Vespa

It would be nice to see teams from eastern conference playing teams from the west during the whole season instead of just at the end. I would think the players would get more of a challenge if not playing the same teams all the time...perhaps some of them would stay on top of their game all season.

I believe that is the plan for next year's schedule. All league teams will play against each other. The league was trying to instill some regional rivalry same as it was back with the original 6. I am not sure that it worked as well as planned.

Would love to hit the game in Buffalo on 1/1/08. We'll see...Was at the playoff game when Drury potted the tying goal with 7.7 secs left in the game. SICK!!!!!!! (Ahhhhh....memories).

It's not always just at the end - it depends on the season. Last year, San Jose had the Rangers, Flyers, Devils, Islanders, and Penguins all come through town before Christmas. This year, we open on the road @ Edmonton, but our first home game is against the Bruins. We won't see Toronto or Montreal until spring, though....
