Anyone have any experience or opinion with https://motowus.com/. Are scoot tires speed rated to take this type of tow?

I can't see speed as an issue. I see the issues as 1) whether the Vespa's rear wheel is sufficiently exposed to be fastened to the tow device, and 2) the Vespa's smaller wheel diameter vs the device's chock.

The manufacturer says the chock radius is customizable but then states "High fender on rear wheel needed (minimum 15″ clearance)". That means it can't work with a Vespa (and perhaps not with any scooter).

Too bad.

Oh... Welcome to MV from the Great White North!

That's the way we used to tow cars (with automatics) back in the day. What's old...

If you have an SUV or truck, I hitch carrier like the Black Widow MX-600X is a good choice

It might work for my new Liberty but I don't know if a tow hitch could be put on my Veloster. Doubt if it would work for vintage or the LXV. Rats, but it's workable for some.

A couple of initial questions:

1) Might the bike be legally required to show its own brake and turn lights in some juristictions?

2) With some bikes, might running the speedometer drive backwards cause any damage?

Not to mention
Not to mention that you are putting a lot of torque into the frame and rear suspension going around corners that it never experiences in riding. And impact forces into the front suspension that it may not be able to react to (potholes?) due to the angle of the forks.

Seems like a bad idea. Better to put it on a trailer.
