IF it is, nice job indeed. If it ain't, my guess would be some Genuine Buddy/PGO My Bubu guts underneath. Maybe. The headset makes me think so, as well as the overall proportions and shape. Cladding is an "easy" thing for the manufacturers to play with and create a different looking thing altogether. The front suspension set up is a nice throwback.

If it is "real", it's at least more interesting looking than the re-badged Adly they're selling in the States.

ROFL emoticon

Looks familiar.
Must be a Lammy if it's guaranteed to breakdown after X-number of uses.

What ever happened with the Lambretta that appeared in Blue Smoke and Red Eyes book? I thought that was the prototype?

I rib on Lambretta all the time. However, a Lambretta (A real one) that has never been messed with, is just as reliable as any Vespa i have ever owned

with that being said, i don't know if the ad is true or doctored, but tng and cmsi are one in the same. cmsi was the company that was working on the original "new lambretta" l-series, not the current adly re-badges available here in the states.

It's a Chinese bike available through a number of companies. The Admin of the BBS posted pictures of it a long while back. I think some "manufacturer" had one at the Dealer Expo in Indianapolis.

i've heard the ownership of the name (lambretta) is different in these cases. one company licenses it for a clothing line in the uk, another group supposedly has rights in the u.s. to put it on adly scooters, and apparently someone in italy is putting it on another asian bike. i believe the ultimate "holder" of the name "lambretta" is SIL from india (scooters india limited) who made actual lambrettas until recently?

if someone knows different, please correct me.

Dont forget the Khurana family in Seattle thinks they own the name also. They are working on a deal to put some POS chinese thing on the road with Lammy scripts on it.

That deal's been done. For the record, I think Adly (the POS bike you refer to) is a Taiwanese. Someone here has posted some pics of their "Lambretta".

Yeah, except for the fact that it's so wide I could barely get both feet on the ground. You would have to get platforms taller than GirlWho's to ride it.

Why not get a real Mark Broadhurst Lambretta with the ugly racing team paint.

Here is a little picture of one that puts out 25 hp...
