Modern Vespa

I'm look for local people to tinker with . I've been riding around western Ma. for a lot of years and have never come across another vintage Vespa..

I'm originally from southeast Mass. Fall River. But now live in NYC for over 13 yrs. Going by craigslist ads, there are quite a few vintage scoots in the cape area and boston, but yeah I haven't seen much listed in your area. Hope you find some locals to help out. If not, this crowd provides answers pretty regularly.

I'm not in the western part of the state, but I'm near Framingham.

But I'm moving to Pennsylvania as soon as the buyers of my house make up their mind and sign the paperwork.

Lived in Amherst....draftboard was in Northampton. Worked at Springfield Hospital.
Good people - they let me be an Army Medic in the SE Asia Games by granting my petition for draft status change to 1A-O.
Left in 1973.
Lovely place to live - wife and I had a Honda 90 which we rode everywhere. Must be nice to scooter there!

I'm originally from the Pioneer Valley ( Springfield ). Now live in the mountains of Western NC. Vintage scooters seem to be popular in the flat lands of Georgia and SC but not so much here. A web search will show a Vespa dealer in Hendersonville NC, but not there anymore. Closest dealer to me would be in Charlotte NC. At my age I pretty much just ride in the gated community I live in. Hope you find some other interested fans in Western Mass.
