The 25 hour VW Fun Cup race at the best motor racing circuit in the world - Spa Francorchamp in Belgium.

Any T4 Transporters (US Vanagons) racing? Or just Beetle types?

VW Beetle look a likes.

Tubular chassis, 18 T, 20 T and 2.0 Diesels and around 130 hp plus.

The rear wing is there to keep the back end on the deck as the cars weigh nothing.

Sounds like a real enjoyable weekend. I envy you folks over there with the easy ability of hopping the channel at a moments notice for any and all of the like, fun runs and exhibitions.
Gotta wonder if it will be as easy to do with Brexit.

Check out Transporters ripping around Nurburgring on youtube. Vanagons with Porsche engines - Baywindows the same. Fav is the old Barndoors trying to hustle around.

I'm lucky as the English Channel is 45 minutes away for me.

35 - 60 minutes later I'm in France.

Spa is only 3 1/2 hours away.

Great little town in that area is Beerzel, it has a 1400s Medieval War castle that is so cool. Old and unrestored from the battles it went through.
Great pub at the entrance to the grounds to grab a local beer and a tosty.
Little out of the way, from Brussels we took the metro, then a train, then a bus, then walked a little ways to get to the town.

I'm envious of the logistical lack of challenge Euro's have WRT motor racing events.
I'm ~2 hours from three race courses and pretty happy to be able to attend events like the WSBK race at Laguna Seca this weekend. Nothing compared to the volume of racing within a reasonable commute in England however.

Brands Hatch is 35 minutes from my house.

Silverstone 2 hours.

Once in France Spa is 4 hours away and Le Mans is 6 hours.

I've been to a couple of NASCAR and several Indy races. Not generally my cup of tea so much, although Indy cars are pretty cool. Most of these were around business/entertainment of clients.
Went to Brands Hatch for the opening round of BTCC in 2010.
I would like to see MotoGP's in Italy and Spain. They seem passionate and that makes for fun.
You've been to a couple I'd like to see: Daytona 24 and Sebring.
BTW, Montreal is a great F1 if you get a chance and COTA is a nice facility and Austin is good for a visit. Also, races at Laguna Seca seem to be enjoyed by folks from you side of the pond.

Laguna Seca and Bristol are on the list as well as Nurburgring for the 24 hours.

I hope MotoGP returns to Laguna, where it belongs.

It's often the cost of hosting these events that prevents them from ever returning to your favourite event.

The World Superbikes used to visit Brands Hatch and 160,000 people attended but the organisers just started to ask too much so the contract wasn't renewed.

The good news is that the DTM came back and they eventually got to use the full Grand Prix circuit.

Yes, event charges from FIM can be large. I don't know if the US MotoGP at COTA is a money maker. If not, COTA will not likely host the show.

I'm actually struggling to think of a race that I actually want to go and see.

I mean really really want to go and see.

I'd go and see Bathurst if I could stand the flight.
