Modern Vespa

Hello all, looking for some advice. My wife and I are buying a 2010 300 GT. We'd like to get the seat modified,have foam shaved to lower the ride height and make it flatter. It will be easier for my wife to reach the ground and easier for me to sit comfortably as I'm 6'4" and always seem to be sitting on the raised part of the stock seat. I remember some years ago Pirate was the go to place but since they are no longer in business I can't seem to find anyone. Thanks in advance.

You can take it to an upholsterer, like Napes Upholstery or Ted & Sons, they can shave the foam on top and on the sides and install gel pad.

I did that on my GT200 seat. I filled in the dip and shaved down the hump. I re-stretched the original seat cover and added a 3d mesh cover. It was easy to do. You'll find plenty of helpful videos on youtube.
