Rear wheel \hub nut, cant crack it,(tried 5ft bar broke socket) can anyone confirm its a right hand thread, looked in haynes manual, dont say anything about lefthand thread, planning on trying heat tomorrow.
Its on road, been inspected, threw in low milage engine from parts scoot, and a few panels, carb sounds a bit throaty, considering changing diagpram, and or adjust slack in cable.,
All four wheels i have are suspect, and not holding pressure, the only rim that paint isnt Flakey has worst cracked tire, probably best to buy pair of wheels off Ebay or a rim and get two new tyres, if i can get rear wheels off engines would help, maybe the tires can be fixed?
Cheers anthony.

All bolts and screws on Vespas are standard RH thread. (But with a rumoured LH threaded mirror on some LXs).

Soak in a penetrating oil, use a 6 point socket, and an impact driver if you have one available.

Definitely
If you can use an air-impact wrench, probably your best chance of getting it loose withough breaking something. Seems like the sharp torque pulse can move fasteners that a steady force won't budge.

If the wheels are not rusted to the point of being structurally unsafe, can usually remove the rust and repaint.
