Hello everyone,

I wanted to mount an external plug for charging my devices, but also wanted to mount hazard light module, so need to access the turn lights wires.

I cut the plate on my GTS HPE (2019 model in EU but called 2020 in US).
Here's what I saw. Doesn't look like any pictures I've see around, with either round or square connector...

Any idea? I guess I can use the wires further down of the glove box usb plug, but I need also to find the turn signal wires...

It's dangling down in there somewhere! A mirror and flashlight should help find it, but if all else fails just dive in and remove the legshield out of the way.

I also thought so, but was prepared to use the big connector...

Hopefully colour code is the same?

Thank you!

I don't know if this is the same on the Europe model but the cover around the circuit breakers is removable.

Check at minute 17 on this Robot video. It is for led running lights but may show how to find what you are looking for.

Remove two screws and the fuse box can be pulled out a bit and rotated out of the way. My alarm connector was behind the fuse box.

Fantastic!
I was actually planning to remove the legshield to replace the « hanger » ring with a metal one. Will do that at the same time then!

So here we go. Yes the round connector is still there but hanging down and with a cap.

I tap the wires of the glovebox USB plug, red and black, just after the connector connecting that USB plug to the rest of electrical tree of the Vespa (so just before the connector it's the thin wires white and black.

Indeed only removing the plate behind the fuse in the glovebox would have been sufficient.

I removed the legshield as I was also looking to tap the turn light wires (but my tap in parts are not adequate, need to source ones for such thin wires..).

Here's the result. I also added later on an external switch with my garage remote control inside to open the door with comfort. Super happy.
