Modern Vespa

This is a plug for a new(ish) Vespa dealer in Vernon, Connecticut. Connecticut Scooter Pros/Vernon Vespa recently started carrying the Vespa/Piaggio line, although they've been selling scooters for years. They also carry Genuine, Kymco, and a few others. I'm having some issues that might require the Piaggio diagnostic tool. The first dealer I called (to remain nameless) transferred me to the service department where I spoke to someone who said, "I think we have the diagnostic tool." That response didn't inspire too much confidence, so I stopped by CT Scooter Pros. Despite being incredibly busy (it was a Saturday), they were extremely helpful, showing me the diagnostic tool itself and the computer it hooked up to. The service manager also explained that a Vespa technician can "take over the computer" when they hook the scooter up to the diagnostic tool and, thus, the technician can help troubleshoot any error codes, etc. The service manager offered to talk to Vespa and set up a time for me to bring in the scooter to run the diagnostic while a Vespa technician is monitoring/guiding the process. I think they are still learning the Piaggio/Vespa ropes, but they had great customer service and seemed to want to help. It was refreshing after the other dealer's response - "I think we have the diagnostic tool," followed by, "And we are two weeks in arrears."

Thanks for the write up. I am in VT so I have travel some distance to find a dealer and this gives me another choice

Funny you should mention them. I go to their website and drool over the Benelli 302. It looks absolutely fierce.
